Joe Tortolano, aka "Torto", joined the club in 1985. Capable of playing full-back, midfield or even out wide. After a bright start his career stalled and he struggled to impose himself, - which led to him being a target of the boo-boys. Famously sent off in Gordon Rae's 'Testimonial' for a foul on Man Utd's Gordon Strachan.

Also played for Clyde, Stirling Albion and East Stirlingshire.
