Gerry Baker was an able marksman for Hibs. Had he stayed he would surely have been a key performer, but he tended to move around a lot in his career and never really settled at any of his clubs. Worked at the Jaguar plant in Coventry when his career ended.

Other clubs were - Chelsea, Motherwell, St Mirren, Coventry City, Brentford, Margate, Nuneaton Borough and Bedworth United.
