'Son of former Leith Athletic full-back, Willie follows in Dad's footsteps. He's always been a defender : at Tynecastle School, Hutchison Vale, Tranent and now at Easter Road. Was only "called up" to Easter Road at the end of last season. Is doing his bit down the mines at Newcraighall. Is an optical mechanic to trade.'
