Jock Weir, Outside-right, featured in an article in the Official Programme, No. 16 dated 01/01/1976 (pgs 12/13).

Described as one of the fastest forwards in the game during the 'War-time' era he finished top scorer in Scotland in his last season with the club.

Clocked 9.8 secs over 100 yds in timed run in 1946.

Sold to Blackburn Rovers.
