This 3-0 win and Hearts' 2-0 victory over Celtic on the same night is the first time since 29/04/1972 that both Edinburgh clubs have beaten the 'Old Firm' on the same day.

On that occasion Hibs beat Rangers 2-1 at Ibrox while Hearts beat Celtic 4-1 at Tynecastle.
