This time Celtic went ahead through Dixie Deans after an hour. It took a spectacular long-range free kick from Eric Schaedler, on 72 minutes, to salvage a draw.

Game abandoned 8 mins from time due to fog.
Earlier in the game Celtic fans invaded from the jungle end holding the match up for several minutes but not much was made of this in the press.
Imagine the hullabaloo if this had happened to the old firm today.
