Remember it well, rainy night in the enclosure, still have the programme which suggests, according to my marking system that Arthur Duncan was the only Hibs player with pass marks!

In stormy conditions Hibs missed numerous opportunities to build on Ally MacLeod's early goal. Arbroath made them pay for that profligacy scoring twice in two minutes through Tommy Yule and John Fletcher.

Paterson replaced Muir.
