I was a Thistle ball boy on that date 19/12/59
We were shellshocked at half-time 0-5. Willie Thornton, jags manager, demanded a big fightback from jags. 2nd half began and it was soon 2-5. The fightback was on. Alas, Hibs scored another five. Not many thistle fans care to remember this game. I wonder why?
