Game: 3-2 (A) Vs Falkirk in Scottish League (19/02/1972)

Johnny Hamilton scored after 10 seconds in this game !

The Falkirk scorers were Doug Somner , and a certain Alex Ferguson.

Joe Baker returned from injury to score a brilliant winning goal at Brockville , - diving full-length to head a John Hamilton centre into the net.
Falkirk thought Hamilton was offside and in the ensuing protest Denis Setterington was booked and Alex Ferguson sent off.
On a sad note Alex Cropley sustained a bad ankle injury which ruled him out for the rest of the season.
