Hibs missed loads of chances in the first-half, including a penalty from MacLeod which hit the post. Meanwhile, Killie, with far less of the play, scored twice before half-time through winger Bobby Street who went on to complete his hat-trick in the second-half.

Lambie replaced Duncan.

Referee :- J.A.R. Wales, Cumbernauld.
