This was Jimmy Caskie's last game as a "guest" player for the club. In June, along with other players, the SFA found him guilty of receiving illegal payments from the club and he was forbidden to play for the club again. For the rest of the war he "guested" for Hibernian. In all he played in 9 war-time internationals (4 while at Love Street).He died in Glasgow on 19th May 1977. (edited by moderator)
