3 comments so far (post your own)Tommy McQueen joined the club in 1952. A somewhat nomadic career, he is probably best known for his time at Accrington Stanley (1954-57). His son, Gordon McQueen, is the former Man Utd and Scotland centre-half.
Also, played for Motherwell, Leith Athletic, Alloa Athletic, East Fife, Berwick Rangers & Stranraer.

Sat with Tommy Mc Queen on away days when he played for Stanley my dad was reserve team trainer great bloke very funny HAPPY DAYS
