Bobby Neil joined the club in June 1894. A centre-half, his methodical no-nonsense style was extremely effective and he was also a penalty ace. Played in the 1896 Scottish Cup Final for Hibs. Joined Rangers from Liverpool in May 1897, winning four titles from 1899 to 1902 and the Scottish Cup in 1898.
