2 comments so far (post your own)This is my Great Great Grandfather. He palyed with Campsie Black Watch before moving to Hibs. In 1889 Hibs were involved in an Exhibition Tournament involving some some English teams. I have the medal and the photograph of the team on my living room wall, even though I support a much more successful team in Green & White. I offered them to the Hibs Museum, but they weren't interested. Shame!

Ammendment to above comment. This is my Great Grandfather. Further research shows that he played for a team called Campsie Football Club. When people said he played for "Campsie" I wrongly assumed it was the Black Watch. According to Celtic Wiki he played one game for Celtic in a friendly match against Hiberian on the 9th March 1889.
